Los Angeles, California (February 4, 2021) – A police officer was injured in a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning in Los Angeles, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 5:18 a.m., on February 2, on northbound Highway 101 to the southbound Highway 110 interchange.
According to the officials, the officer was navigating the transition road when the collision occurred.
It was not clear if the Santa Monica Police motorcycle officer lost control or was struck by another vehicle.
The officer was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
The crash remains under investigation.
