Child Hurt in Los Angeles Multi-Car Crash on Highway 101 near Barham Boulevard

Los Angeles, California (February 4, 2021) – A child was hurt in a Wednesday afternoon multi-vehicle collision that happened on Highway 101 in Los Angeles, the California Highway Patrol said.
The four-vehicle accident occurred just after 4:00 p.m. in the southbound lanes, just south of Barham Boulevard.
A white Chevrolet, a Nissan Silvia, a gray Saturn, and a white Nissan van were involved in the pileup. The vehicles were blocking the roadway after the crash.
Firefighters and paramedics responding to the scene said a child in the Saturn suffered minor injuries. It was not clear if the other motorists were also hurt. Paramedics treated the victim at the crash scene.
Firefighters blocked the Nos. 2, 3, and 4 lanes following the accident.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
