Perris, CA: CHP Investigating Possible Fatality Hit-and-Run Crash on Highway 74
At Least 1 Possibly Killed in Perris Motorcycle Crash on Highway 74 at Hammack Avenue

Perris, California (February 4, 2021) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating a hit-and-run motorcycle collision that happened Wednesday evening in Perris, resulting in a possible fatality.
According to CHP, the incident transpired at about 6:17 p.m. on Highway 74 at Hammack Avenue.
The report said that first responders found a person lying down in the roadway and about 3-4 vehicles in the center of the roadway.
It was not clear if all vehicles were involved in the crash, but it is believed a motorcyclist was hit by at least one vehicle whose driver fled on foot.
An airship was dispatched to the scene to help the victim who sustained severe injuries. The report, however, said the victim might have succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
Tow trucks were used to remove the motorcycle and the hit-and-run vehicle from the scene.
