2 Hospitalized after North County Crash on Highway 79 near Warner Springs

North County, California (February 1, 2021) – Two people were hospitalized following a Sunday night multi-vehicle crash in North County, according to a local news source.
Just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday, January 31, authorities received a report about the accident on Highway 79 near Sunshine Summit and just west of Warner Springs.
Authorities said six vehicles were involved in the crash. As a result of the collision, one vehicle flipped on its side and another acquired extensive front-end damage.
Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Accident in North County
Two people sustained injuries ranging from moderate to major. One of the victims was airlifted and the other was transported by ground ambulance.
