Los Angeles, CA: Fatal Wrong-Way Car Crash on Harbor Freeway
1 Killed in Los Angeles Crash on Harbor (110) Freeway near Gardena (91) Freeway

Los Angeles, California (February 1, 2021) – One person was killed in a traffic accident caused by an alleged wrong-way driver in the Harbor Gateway area of Los Angeles early Monday morning, according to a local news source.
At around 12:40 a.m., the California Highway Patrol officers received a report about the accident in the southbound lane of the Harbor (110) Freeway, just north of the Gardena (91) Freeway.
Reportedly, a sedan was heading northbound in the southbound No. 3 lane when it involved in a crash with several other vehicles. After the collision, at least one vehicle rolled over.
One of the involved vehicles was described as an SUV.
Deadly Car Crash on Harbor Freeway in Los Angeles
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated a woman who was trapped in the SUV. She was then taken to a local hospital in an unknown condition.
Authorities said one person died as a result of the crash. The name of the victim was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
All southbound lanes of the freeway in the area were closed due to the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
