1 Injured in El Cajon Car Crash on 8 Freeway near Highway 125
El Cajon, California (January 27, 2021) – Injuries were reported in a car accident that happened in El Cajon on Tuesday evening.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened along the westbound lanes of Interstate 8 Freeway near Highway 125 at about 5:25 p.m. January 26.
An SUV pulling a trailer and a Dodge pickup truck were involved in the accident. The manner in which the accident happened, however, was not immediately established.
The authorities said at least one person was injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
An investigation to establish the cause of the accident is underway.
