57-Year-Old Gilroy Man Killed, 64-Year-Old Gustine MAn Injured in Gilroy Crash on Highway 152 near Lovers Lane
Gilroy, California (January 23, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Saturday morning head-on crash that killed a 57-year-old man from Gilroy and left one other man injured in Gilroy.
The deadly accident happened at about 3:00 a.m. on Highway 152, just west of Lovers Lane.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the 57-year-old man was driving eastbound on the highway when his vehicle drifted over the yellow lines and crashed head-on into a car that was headed westbound.

Sadly, the 57-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the westbound car, a 64-year-old man from Gustine in Merced County, was hospitalized with moderate injuries.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
