Woman Injured in Carlsbad Car Crash on 5 Freeway near Cannon Road
Carlsbad, California (January 21, 2021) – A woman was seriously injured in a rollover crash that happened in Carlsbad on Thursday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 8:30 a.m. on southbound Interstate 5 Freeway near Cannon Road.
A vehicle was traveling on the roadway when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle overturned and landed on its wheels, with the driver’s side door up against a guardrail on the right side of the highway.
The female driver of the vehicle had to be extricated before being transported to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
