Woman Killed in Kings County Car Crash on Highway 41
Kings County, California (January 21, 2021) – A woman was killed in a solo car crash near Stratford in Kings County on Wednesday night.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened on Highway 41 at about 10:30 p.m. January 20.
The authorities said an SUV was traveling on the highway when the driver lost control and crashed into a guardrail.
The impact of the collision sent the vehicle into a canal filled with about five feet of water.
Emergency crews responded to the incident and pulled the vehicle out of the water.
The female driver of the car was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
