North Hills, California (January 20, 2021) – One person was killed Tuesday night in a single-vehicle traffic accident in North Hills, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
The deadly crash, which was reported at around 8:26 p.m. Tuesday, January 19, happened in the 16615 block of W Roscoe Boulevard.
Authorities said a vehicle was traveling on W Roscoe Boulevard when, for an unknown reason, it veered off the roadway and crashed into a power pole.
Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the wreckage. Sadly, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
The name of the deceased person was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Further details about the crash were not immediately provided, and the accident remains under investigation.
