Man Hospitalized after Tracy Collision at Grant Line Road and Lincoln Boulevard
Tracy, California (January 20, 2021) – A male party was hospitalized with critical injuries after being involved in a two-vehicle collision in Tracy Monday morning, a local news source reported.
Authorities responded to the major injury crash site shortly before 5:40 a.m., at Grant Line Road and Lincoln Boulevard.
The accident involved a tractor-trailer and a Honda sedan driven by a man west on Grant Line Road.
The big rig hit the sedan at the intersection under unclear circumstances.
Due to the impact, the sedan spun across the highway, near the middle of the intersection, and its driver was pinned inside the wreckage.
Tracy Truck Crash Critically Hurt One Person
The trapped victim was rescued by firefighters and rushed to an area hospital for treatment of major injuries. Officials said the patient was listed in critical condition.
The truck operator, who was not possibly hurt, stopped following the mishap and cooperated with the law.
Meanwhile, police requested tow trucks to remove both vehicles away from the scene.
An investigation into the January 11 accident is underway.
