Mother Dies, 3 Children Injured in Moreno Valley Crash on Gilman Springs Road near Alessandro Boulevard
Moreno Valley, California (January 19, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a Tuesday morning head-on crash that Killed a woman left three children injured in Moreno Valley.
The fatal accident happened at about 7:00 a.m. on Gilman Springs Road, east of Alessandro Boulevard.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a sedan crossed over the double yellow lines, clipped a box truck, and crashed head-on into a car carrying the woman and her three children.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated at least one person who was trapped in the wreckage, the officials said.

The woman was taken to a hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Her three children, who were buckled into car seats, sustained minor injuries.
The driver of the sedan suffered serious injuries, and was undergoing surgery, officials said.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
