1 Injured in Galt Car Crash on Highway 99 near Lincoln Avenue
Galt, California (January 20, 2021) – One person was hospitalized after being injured in a car accident in Sacramento on Tuesday morning.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 10:38 a.m. on Highway 99 near Lincoln Avenue.
A white van was traveling on the roadway when it crashed into the back of a big rig.
One person was trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated by the firefighters.
The victim was later transported to Kaiser Permanente South Sacramento Medical Center for treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
