Gail Amos Hit and Killed by 2 Vehicles on Walnut Avenue near Alder Avenue in Rialto
Rialto, California (January 19, 2021) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Rialto last week Friday, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The fatal auto-pedestrian accident happened along Walnut Avenue near Alder Avenue at about 5:08 p.m. January 15.
55-year-old Gail Hansen Amos had just parked her car was walking northbound across the street when she was hit by a black Honda Accord and a gray Nissan pickup truck that were traveling westbound.
The paramedics responded to the incident and found the woman lying on the roadway with major injuries.
Amos was transported to an area hospital where she died while undergoing treatment.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
