49-Year-Old Male Motorcyclist Killed in Patterson Crash on Del Puerto Canyon Road near Diablo Grande Parkway
Patterson, California (January 18, 2021) – A 49-year-old motorcyclist from San Jose was killed in a Sunday morning traffic accident in Patterson, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 11:30 a.m., on January 17, on Del Puerto Canyon Road, west of Diablo Grande Parkway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was approaching a bend in the roadway when, for an unknown reason, he crossed over into the opposite lane and then crashed into a metal pole fence off the shoulder.
Rider Killed Crash on Del Puerto Canyon Road
Sadly, the rider, who was wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
