1 Killed in Lake Mathews Car Crash at Tin Mine Road and La Sierra Avenue
Lake Mathews, California (January 18, 2021) – One person was killed in a car crash that left a second person with minor injuries in Lake Mathews, between Corona and Riverside, on Sunday evening.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash happened in the area of Tin Mine Road and La Sierra Avenue at about 6:10 p.m. January 17.
The Cal Fire Riverside-Riverside County Fire Department said a single vehicle was involved in the off-road crash.
One person was killed in the accident. The identity of the deceased was not immediately disclosed.
One person was hospitalized with minor injuries.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
