Herminia Morales Dies after Being Struck by Hit-And-Run Driver at Panama Lane and Betty Street in Bakersfield

Bakersfield, California (January 16, 2021) – Authorities have identified the female victim who was struck and killed by a hit-and-run motorist Tuesday evening in Bakersfield as 58-year-old Herminia Arreola Morales.
The deadly crash took place at Panama Lane and Betty Street on January 12.
Two vehicles reportedly struck Morales while attempting to cross the street shortly before 7 p.m.
Meanwhile, both motorists did not stop to render aid and escaped the scene.
Authorities identified the involved vehicles as a silver or white Mercedes sedan and a red Chevy Silverado.
Herminia Morales Killed in Bakersfield Crash
Sadly, Morales was pronounced dead.
The detectives handling the case are gathering more evidence to locate the suspect.
