Man Hospitalized after City Heights Pedestrian Accident at University and Marlborough Avenues
City Heights, California (January 8, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and injured by a vehicle Friday morning at an intersection in City Heights, according to a local news source.
The accident happened at about 5:10 a.m. at the intersection of University and Marlborough Avenues.
Authorities said the pedestrian, a 54-year-old man, was walking across the City Heights intersection when he was hit by a Hyundai driven by a 65-year-old woman.
Paramedics responded to the crash site and took the man to a local hospital with a skull fracture and a brain bleed. His name and current condition were not disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
