1 Person Killed in Riverside Bicycle Accident at Colorado Avenue and Jackson Street
Riverside, California (January 7, 2021) – One person was killed in a bicycle accident on Thursday morning in Riverside, officials said.
The deadly accident happened at about 6:30 a.m. at the intersection of Colorado Avenue and Jackson Street.
According to the police, the cyclist was headed southbound on Jackson Street in a dedicated bike lane when a vehicle struck him.

The cyclist was taken to Parkview Community Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The involved driver fled the scene and is being sought by the police. No description of the suspect’s vehicle was available.
The crash remains under investigation.
