Philip Marria ID’d as 77-Year-Old Man Killed in San Juan Ridge Crash on Tyler Foote Crossing Road near Oak Tree Road
San Juan Ridge, California (January 7, 2021) – Philip Marria, 77, of San Juan Ridge, has been identified as the man who was killed in a single-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in San Juan Ridge, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 2:25 p.m., on January 6, on Tyler Foote Crossing Road, just west of Oak Tree Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a Jeep Cherokee, driven by Marria, was headed westbound on the roadway when it straightened out of a curve, lost control, and struck an oak tree for undetermined reasons.

Sadly, Marria was pronounced dead at the scene.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
