47-Year-Old Fresno Man Killed in Madera County Crash Avenue 7 1/2 east of Road 6
Madera County, California (January 7, 2021) – A 47-year-old man from Fresno was killed in a single-vehicle accident on Wednesday evening in Madera County, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 6:50 p.m., on January 6, along Avenue 7 1/2 east of Road 6.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2019 Honda, driven by the man was headed westbound on the roadway when it made an unsafe turning movement to the right.
The Honda reportedly drifted onto the shoulder, crashed into a power pole, and caught fire.

Sadly, the man was pronounced dead at the scene.
It was not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
