Person Seriously Injured in Arden-Arcade Pedestrian Accident at Greenwood and Marconi Avenues
Arden-Arcade, California (January 7, 2021) – A pedestrian was struck and seriously injured by a vehicle Wednesday night at an intersection in Arden-Arcade.
The major injury pedestrian collision happened at around 7:25 p.m. Wednesday, January 6, at the intersection of Greenwood and Marconi avenues, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
As per the CHP report, the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle at the intersection of Greenwood and Marconi avenues.
Emergency personnel responded to the scene and found the pedestrian suffering from major injuries. The patient was then transported to Mercy San Juan Medical Center with a broken right leg.
It was not immediately clear whether the driver involved stopped or fled the scene after the accident.
The accident remains under investigation.
