Major Injuries Sustained in Beaumont Car Crash on Highway 60 at Potrero Boulevard Overcrossing
Beaumont, California (January 6, 2021) – Authorities are investigating a traffic crash that happened Wednesday afternoon in Beaumont, resulting in major injuries.
The California Highway Patrol said the incident took place at about 1:14 p.m. on eastbound Highway 60 at the Potrero Boulevard overcrossing.
As per the report, a red 2005 Ford Ranger was involved in the collision. Reportedly, the pickup came off a dirt hill and landed on the highway.
A party at the scene called authorities saying the brush under the vehicle was on fire and they were trying to put it out but seemed unsuccessful.
Responding paramedics confirmed that major injuries were sustained in the crash. The number of the victims was, however, not mentioned.
CHP is investigating the cause of the collision.
