DUI Driver Blaine Lentz Arrested Following Redding Traffic Crash at Park Marina and South Street

Redding, California (January 4, 2021) – 30-year-old Blaine Lentz has been identified as the DUI suspect who resulted in minor injuries to one person at an intersection in Redding Thursday night.
At about 11:40 p.m., December 31, officials received a report of a crash involving a single vehicle driven by a drunk driver in the area of Park Marina and South Street.
A white car operated by Lentz swerved off the highway and slammed into a tree on New Year’s Eve.
Due to the impact, two people were trapped inside the wreckage.
Passenger Hurt in Redding DUI Traffic Accident
A passenger riding in the car survived with minor injuries.
Lentz was treated for unspecified injuries before being arrested for DUI.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation.
