One Killed in Diamond Bar Crash on Pomona (60) Freeway at Grand Avenue

Diamond Bar, California (January 2, 2021) – One person was killed Friday night in a traffic accident involving several vehicles in Diamond Bar, according to a local news source.
The deadly multi-car accident, which was reported at around 9:30 p.m. Friday, January 1, happened on the eastbound Pomona (60) Freeway at Grand Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A Dodge sedan and a black sedan reportedly were blocking the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes, respectively.
A witness told the authorities that a motorcyclist slammed into the rear of a vehicle. The rider was ejected from the bike upon the impact.
Deadly Crash on 60 Freeway in Diamond Bar
One person died as a result of the accident. It was not immediately known if the deceased was the motorcyclist.
All lanes of the eastbound Pomona Freeway, just west of Grand Avenue, were closed due to the accident.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
