David Cryster-Welle ID’d as Victim Killed in West Long Beach Accident on Pacific Coast Highway near Judson Avenue
West Long Beach, California (December 31, 2020) – The Riverside man who died following a pedestrian accident Wednesday morning in West Long Beach has been identified as 38-year-old David Cryster-Welle.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the fatal crash site at approximately 8:00 a.m., on Pacific Coast Highway near Judson Avenue.
Cryster-Welle was struck by a Dodge driven by a Long Beach woman eastbound along the highway under unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Cryster-Welle was pronounced dead at the scene.
The involved motorist stopped at the scene and rendered aid to Cryster-Welle.
Intoxication was not believed to have played a role in the wreck.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
