Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Car on Santa Fe Avenue in Vista
Oceanside Man Injured in Vista Pedestrian Crash on Santa Fe Avenue

Vista, California (December 27, 2020) – A man was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Vista, San Diego, early Sunday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the pedestrian accident happened in the 2405 block of Santa Fe Avenue at about 3 a.m.
An Oceanside man was walking in the area and was struck by a Dodge Dakota that was traveling southbound on the highway.
The pedestrian suffered major injuries in the accident and was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment.
The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities.
The authorities said speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
