At Least One Killed in Lemon Grove Accident on State Route 94 near Federal Boulevard
Lemon Grove, California (December 24, 2020) – At least one person was killed Thursday night in a traffic accident in Lemon Grove, a local news source reported.
According to the California Highway Patrol traffic incident log, the deadly Christmas Eve crash occurred at around 8:10 p.m. on the eastbound side of State Route 94 between the exits to Federal Boulevard and Broadway and College Avenue.
As per the CHP log, the crash involved at least two vehicles. One of the involved cars reportedly rolled over after the collision.
One vehicle came to a rest on the freeway while the other veered off the roadway and came to a stop behind a business on Federal Boulevard.
Authorities said one person was ejected from their vehicle during the collision. The victim was found unresponsive 300 feet from the car by emergency responders.
Further details about the fatality were not immediately available.
An investigation into the crash is underway.
