81-Year-Old Man Killed in Fresno Crash at Hill Avenue and Adams Avenue
Fresno, California (December 24, 2020) – Authorities are investigating a Wednesday evening traffic accident that killed an 81-year-old man.
The deadly accident transpired at about 5:30 p.m., on December 23, at the intersection of Hill Avenue and Adams Avenue.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a car operated by the 81-year-old man was struck at the intersection after its driver failed to see a stop sign and entered the intersection without stopping.
Following the collision, his vehicle struck a dry drainage ditch and overturned, the officials said.

Sadly, the 82-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver and a passenger in the other car sustained moderate injuries and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
