San Francisco, CA: Pedestrian Struck and Injured by Hit-And-Run Driver at Third Street and Evans Avenue

San Francisco, California (December 22, 2020) – Major injuries were sustained following a pedestrian accident at an intersection in San Francisco early Sunday morning, the San Francisco Police Department reported.

The suspected hit-and-run accident happened in the area of Third Street and Evans Avenue at around 4:19 a.m. December 20.

A 92-year-old woman was possibly struck by a silver Toyota Corolla operated by 58-year-old Eli Deleston who failed to stop following the wreck.

Eli Deleston Arrested Following San Francisco Collision

Paramedics rushed the victim to the hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

Police called the San Francisco resident, Eli Deleston, and he returned himself to the crash site. He was arrested on suspicion of hit-and-run and was booked into the San Francisco County Jail.

An investigation into the accident is underway.
