1 Seriously Injured in Buellton Motorcycle Crash on Highway 101
1 Injured in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 101 in Buellton
Buellton, California (December 19, 2020) – One person was airlifted after being seriously injured in a motorcycle accident in Buellton on Saturday afternoon.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12 p.m. on Highway 101.
A vehicle and a motorcycle reportedly collided on the roadway for unknown reasons. The officers responded to the crash and found on the right-hand side of the northbound lanes.
A CALSTAR helicopter was called to the scene to airlift one person to the hospital for treatment.
The collision resulted in a temporary closure of both lanes of the highway.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
