2 Killed in Head-On Collision on Bear Valley Road near Multnomah Road in Apple Valley
Apple Valley, California (December 19, 2020) – A man and a woman were killed in a head-on collision that happened in Apple Valley on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened on Bear Valley Road near Multnomah Road at about 10:40 p.m. December 16.
A 26-year-old woman was driving a Ford Taurus westbound on Bear Valley Road when she drifted into the eastbound lanes and collided head-on with a Toyota Camry driven by a 54-year-old man.
Both drivers were killed in the accident.
Their identities were not immediately disclosed.
A 4-year-old girl in the Taurus and a 31-year-old woman in the Camry were seriously injured in the crash and were flown to the hospital for treatment.
The Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is investigating the accident.
