Modesto Pedestrian Accident on Yosemite Boulevard Kills Male Party
Modesto, California (December 19, 2020) – A pedestrian accident that took place in Modesto Thursday night left one person dead.
The deadly accident was reported at about 8:10 p.m., December 17, on Yosemite Boulevard.
An Eastbound SUV struck a male party while walking across Yosemite Boulevard outside of a marked crosswalk, the Modesto police reported.
Fatal Modesto Pedestrian Crash Thursday Night
The pedestrian, a 43-year-old man, died at Memorial Medical Center while undergoing treatment.
The SUV driver, a 25-year-old woman, stopped following the mishap and cooperated with the law.
Intoxicated was not believed to have played a role in the wreck. An investigation into the accident is underway.
