2 Killed in Car Accident on 80 Freeway near Reed Avenue in West Sacramento
Sacramento, California (December 14, 2020) – Two people were killed in a car crash in West Sacramento on Sunday morning, December 13
According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly collision happened at about 10 a.m. along the westbound lanes of Interstate 80 Freeway near Reed Avenue.
A vehicle was traveling on the freeway when it veered off the roadway for unknown reasons and crashed into a tree.
A person in their 40s and a teenager, both residents of Vallejo, were killed in the accident.
Their identities were not immediately disclosed.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
