1 Killed in Cathedral City Pedestrian Accident at Ramon Road and Avenida Alvera
Cathedral City, California (December 10, 2020) – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car in Cathedral City on Wednesday night.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened in the area of Ramon Road and Avenida Alvera at about 9 p.m. December 8.
A pedestrian was walking in the area and was hit by a car.
The responding officers found the pedestrian down with major injuries.
Sadly, the unidentified man succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The driver remained at the scene of the accident and cooperated with the authorities.
Neither drugs nor alcohol were suspected to have contributed to the crash.
No additional information about the accident was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
