Grandmother Killed, 2 Children Injured in Pasadena Accident at Fair Oaks Avenue and Glenarm Street
Pasadena, California (December 9, 2020) – A grandmother was killed and two children were injured Tuesday night in a traffic accident involving a wrong-way driver in Pasadena, a local news source reported.
According to police, the deadly crash took place at around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, near the intersection of Fair Oaks Avenue and Glenarm Street.
A video from the crash scene showed a black Audi and a white Kia Optima. Both vehicles had extensive front-end damage following the collision.
According to Witnesses, one car was traveling on the wrong side of the road at a high rate of speed when it crashed into another vehicle driven by the grandmother.
Deadly Car Crash in Pasadena
The grandmother died in the crash. Her name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Responding paramedics took two juveniles in the white car to a hospital with unspecified injuries. Their current condition was not disclosed.
