Oakland Crash on Interstate 980 Freeway near Jackson Street Results in Injuries
Oakland, California (December 7, 2020) – Injuries were reported after three vehicles crashed in Oakland Monday morning, the California Highway Patrol said.
The head-on crash was reported at about 5:55 a.m. on the Interstate 980 Freeway at Jackson Street.
As per the CHP report, a large white Dodge utility truck collided head-on with a dark-colored sedan for reasons still under investigation.
Due to the impact, the car spanned out of control and struck a third vehicle in the process.

All involved parties were attended to by the medical personnel who responded to the crash site shortly after 5:55 a.m.
Meanwhile, officials requested a tow truck to remove all three wrecked automobiles away from the crash site.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
