1 Severely Hurt in Santa Fe Springs Pedestrian Crash on 605 Freeway near 5 Freeway
Santa Fe Springs, California (December 7, 2020) – A pedestrian was severely injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday night in Santa Fe Springs, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident happened just before 10:00 p.m. on the northbound 605 Freeway connector to northbound 5 Freeway.
A party called authorities reporting that they had hit a pedestrian who allegedly ran into traffic lanes.
The pedestrian was lying in the lanes with a major wound to the head. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victim.
CHP is investigating to determine the factors that contributed to the crash.
