Sacramento Woman Killed in Arden Arcade Pedestrian Accident on Watt Avenue near El Camino Avenue
Arden Arcade, California (December 4, 2020) – A pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck in the Arden Arcade area Wednesday evening, according to a local news source.
The deadly pedestrian accident occurred just after 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 2 on Watt Avenue near El Camino Avenue, the California Highway Patrol reported.
According to the CHP, the pedestrian, only identified as a 41-year-old Sacramento woman was hit by a red Dodge Ram 1500 that was traveling on northbound Watt Avenue.

Paramedics responded to the crash and declared the woman dead at the scene. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.
The driver, a 66-year-old Sacramento man, stopped at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. The investigators determined that he was not under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol at the time of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
