La Mesa, CA: Woman Hit, Killed by Vehicle on Spring Street
45-Year-Old Woman Killed in La Mesa Pedestrian Accident on Spring Street On-Ramp to Interstate 125
La Mesa, California (December 2, 2020) – A 45-year-old woman believed to be a transient woman was struck and killed by a vehicle last week Monday in La Mesa, according to a press release by the San Diego County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly crash happened at around 7:36 p.m. Monday, November 23, on the southbound Spring Street on-ramp to State Route 125
Authorities said the woman was on the southbound Spring State Route 125 on-ramp when she was struck by a vehicle.
The pedestrian died in the crash. Her name was withheld pending notification of family.
Meanwhile, the driver involved stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police.
The California Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
