1 Person Killed in Buena Park Crash on 5 Freeway near 91 Freeway
Buena Park, California (November 30, 2020) – One person was killed in a multi-vehicle crash on Monday morning in Buena Park, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened at about 12:51 a.m. on the Santa Ana (5) Freeway, just north of the Riverside (91) Freeway.
According to the California Highway Patrol, several vehicles, including a Bentley, a Toyota Prius, and a compact sedan, collided on the freeway in unclear circumstances.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in one of the vehicles. Another was down on the right shoulder of the roadway.

Sadly, one person in the Prius was pronounced dead at the scene.
Traffic on the roadway was stopped due to the mishap. As of 4:00 a.m., the freeway was reopened.
Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
