San Bernardino DUI Crash on Kendall Drive and University Parkway Kills 2 Kids

San Bernardino, California (November 30, 2020) – A traffic collision involving two vehicles late Friday night at an intersection in San Bernardino left three victims dead.
The DUI car crash was reported at about 11:47 p.m., November 28, in the area of Kendall Drive and University Parkway.
The accident happened when a Ford Mustang driven by 23-year-old Brandon Jaquez-Perez, westbound on Kendall Drive, at a high rate of speed failed to stop for a red light. The Ford Mustang then crashed with a Toyota Camry operated by a 31-year-old Bakersfield man at the intersection of University Parkway.
The Bakersfield man was declared deceased at the scene.
Paramedics rushed four kids riding in the Toyota to an area hospital where two of them, aged 4 and 2, died while undergoing treatment. Two other children were treated for moderate to severe injuries.
Police later arrested Jaquez-Perez on suspicion of gross vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated.
An investigation into the fatal accident is underway.
