Steve Crisp ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Bakersfield Crash on Planz Road and McCourry Street

Bakersfield, California (November 26, 2020) – Authorities have identified the motorcyclist who died in a traffic accident Wednesday afternoon in Bakersfield as Steve Long Crisp, 52.
At about 12:49 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, emergency personnel responded to the 2400 block of Planz Road near McCourry Street for a report of a motorcycle accident.
Authorities said Crisp was riding his motorcycle eastbound on Planz Road when, for unknown reasons, he collided with a vehicle that was turning westbound from McCourry Street onto Planz Road.
Fatal Motorcycle, Car Accident on Planz Road in Bakersfield
The driver of the vehicle involved in the crash stopped at the scene and cooperated with the police. Authorities believed speed played a role in the collision.
