Woman Injured in Escondido Car Crash on 15 Freeway near Via Rancho Parkway
Escondido, California (November 25, 2020) – A man was seriously injured in a suspected DUI car crash that happened in Escondido on Wednesday morning.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the accident happened at about 12:50 a.m. on Interstate 15 Freeway near Via Rancho Parkway.
A woman was driving a 2018 Honda Civic sedan southbound in the northbound lanes of the freeway when she crashed into a zipper a barrier machine.
The impact of the collision ejected the woman onto the roadway.
The unidentified woman suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to Palomar Medical Center for treatment of major injuries.
The authorities believe intoxication was a factor in the collision.
