Cerritos, California (November 24, 2020) – One person was killed and another injured in a two-vehicle accident on Friday night in Cerritos, authorities said.
The deadly accident happened just before 11:00 p.m., on November 20, at the intersection of Carmenita Road and Beach Street.
According to the police, a van collided with an SUV at the intersection for undetermined reasons.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated one person who was trapped in the van, the officials said.

Sadly, the driver of the van was pronounced dead at the scene.
The SUV’s driver was hospitalized in an unknown condition.
