Sacramento, CA: Motorcyclist Seriously Injured in Crash on Interstate 80
Rider Suffers Major Injuries in Sacramento Motorcycle Accident on Interstate 80 (Capital City Freeway) at Arden Way Off-Ramp
Sacramento, California (November 22, 2020) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday afternoon in a traffic accident on an interstate in Sacramento, according to a local news source.
The major injury collision happened at about 3:30 p.m. Saturday, November 21 on Interstate 80 at Arden Way exit. Interstate 80 is also known as Capital City Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said a man was riding his motorcycle northbound on Interstate 80 when, for unknown reasons, he crashed into the center median.
Authorities later determined that another vehicle was involved in the accident.
Medical personnel responded to the scene and provided medical aid to the involved parties. The medics determined that the accident resulted in major injuries. However, the number of injured victims and their names were not disclosed.
The accident remains under investigation.
