Man Seriously Injured in Brentwood Crash on Chestnut Street near Sellers Avenue
Brentwood, California (November 22, 2020) – A man was seriously injured in a hot rod accident on Sunday afternoon in Brentwood, authorities said.
The major injury single-vehicle accident happened just after 1:00 p.m. on the 1700 block of Chestnut Street, east of the intersection with Sellers Avenue.
According to the police, a brightly colored hot rod flipped over and landed on its side on the roadway.
First responders arrived at the scene and extricated the man who was trapped in the vehicle. The man was the only occupant of the hot rod.
Man Injured in Single-Vehicle Accident on Chestnut Street
The man sustained major injuries and was flown to John Muir Medical Center in Walnut Creek for treatment.
Drugs or speed were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
