2 Hospitalized after Lake Balboa Accident on Saticoy Street

Lake Balboa, California (November 20, 2020) – Two people were hospitalized Wednesday night following a head-on collision in Lake Balboa, according to a local news source.
The crash happened at about 8:15 p.m. Wednesday, November 18, in the 17300 block of Saticoy Street.
Authorities said a Ford sedan collided with a Lexus sedan on Saticoy Street for unknown reasons.

Firefighters along with the paramedics responded to the scene and extricated the Lexus driver who was trapped in the wreckage.
The freed driver and another person were transported to a nearby trauma center with unspecified injuries. Their names and conditions were not immediately disclosed.
Saticoy Street between Louise and Encino avenues were shut down for more than an hour as the investigation and clean up took place.
It is undetermined whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
The accident remains under investigation.
