Earl Quinby Sustains Major Injuries in Llano Accident on Pearblossom (18) Highway near 248th Street East
Riverside, California (November 17, 2020) – Earl H. Quinby, 57, of Pinon Hills, was seriously injured Monday morning after being involved in a deadly head-on crash in the Llano area.
The tragic wreck happened at about 5:00 a.m. Monday, November 16, on Pearblossom (18) Highway, just east of 248th Street East.
According to the California Highway Patrol, a 2008 Mazda 6, driven by Hill, was traveling eastbound on Pearblossom Highway when, for unknown reasons, the Mazda veered into the westbound lane and collided head-on with an oncoming 2018 Chevrolet Silverado driven by Quinby.
As a result of the crash, both vehicles burst into flames, the officials said.

Hill was declared dead at the scene. Quinby sustained major injuries and was taken to Antelope Valley Hospital for treatment.
Drugs or alcohol were not suspected of having played a role in the accident.
