San Juan Capistrano, CA: Major Injury Multi-Vehicle Crash on Northbound 5 Freeway
At Least 1 Injured in San Juan Capistrano Crash on 5 Freeway near Ortega Highway
San Juan Capistrano, California (November 16, 2020) – At least one person sustained serious injuries in a multi-vehicle collision that happened Sunday morning in San Juan Capistrano.
The California Highway Patrol said a motorhome, a silver Honda Accord, a classic car, and a fourth vehicle collided at about 9:52 a.m. on northbound 5 Freeway, just south of Ortega Highway.

At least one person suffered major injuries in the crash. An ambulance was sent to the scene to take the patient to the hospital.
The accident left several traffic lanes closed to allow an investigation. All lanes were reopened at about 11:44 a.m.
CHP is investigating the incident.
